" This to state the Pharmacy services are delivered by City Pharmacy to our nursing home since 2010. During this time, the service provided has been of very high standard. Engagement with the various pharmacists takes place on a daily basis by our nursing staff. Deliveries are made daily and also on a needs basis. An out of hours emergency service is also available.
Pharmacists are available to audit Kardex and stockstock in ccordance with standard set out by HIQA. Bio-dose system is in place where trining and medication trollies were provided by City Pharmacy. This system enables nursing staff to administer medication in a safe, timely, and hygienic way.
We are very pleased with the service provided by City Pharmacy. We would recommed them to any prospective customer. "

" I have worked in Care of the Older Person now for 10 years and have seen quite a few medication management systems. Like all Nurses, I have always been conscious of the risk that Medication Management poses to both patients and the Nurses in a healthcare setting.
I have worked with City Pharmacy and Biodose since November 2010. During this time I have found the Biodose system the safest that I have worked with. Staff Nurses working on the floor find the Biodose system safe and efficient.
In Glenaulin we have worked closely with City Pharmacy regarding our Medication Management, and during our Health Information and Quality Authority registration inspection, the inspectors noted the good relationship that we had with City Pharmacy. Recently the Staff Nurses have commenced using the education programmes that have been developed by Prof. Weedle and have found them informative and up to date. "
